The Kremlin is not going to decide the future of ex-CIA specialist Edward Snowden, says the president's press secretary.

In an interview with Echo of Moscow radio station, Dmitry Peskov reiterated that Mr Snowden did not cross the Russian border.

Earlier, Ecuador's president announced that it's now up to the Russian authorities to decide the fate of the whistleblower wanted by the US because he was not on Ecuador's territory.
