The Museum Gallery of Art of European and American Countries of the 19th-20th cc opens a unique exhibition on July 9.
Advertizing covers of American magazines from the collection of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts will be for the first time presented to general public.
Visitors will get acquainted with creativity of leading artists that worked in the American illustration in the second half of the 19th – the first decades of the 20th centuries: George Wolfe Plank, Edward Penfield, Helen Dryden and many others, who were the originators of modern journal design in America.
The exhibition will run till October 6.
