Only 5 percent of Russians run their own business, says a study.
According to a poll by the Public Opinion Foundation, just 5 percent of Russians are entrepreneurs, with another 26 percent willing to set up their own business.
However, the majority, or 52 percent, are reluctant to engage in business.
Among the key barriers to self-employment are high taxes, inadequate state support and rampant corruption, respondents says.
