Costs on Universiade in Kazan made up USD 4.5 bn

 The costs on preparation to 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan has made up about USD 4.5 bn, said the President of the International University Sports Federation Claude-Louis Gallien, informs referring to RIA News.


The sport official noted that this is not the final sum. The situation, when the budget of a big sport event is growing, is normal, said he.


The budget of London 2012 Summer Olympics was initially USD 4.4 bn, which finally resulted in USD 13.9 bn., said Mr. Gallien.


27th Summer Universiade in Kazan, the capital of Tatar Rebublic, has started yesterday, 6 June, and will last till 17 July.
