Rosneft and real estate developer MITs are sponsors of the fight between boxing legends Vladimir Klichko and Alexander Povetkin, says Vedomosti.

      The costs for the clash that is expected to take place in Moscow on October 5 will be equally split between the co-sponsors, the daily quotes MITs' chairman of the board of directors Andrey Ryabinsky as saying.

      Mr Ryabinsky, who is also vice-president of the Russian Professional Boxing Federation, said he viewed the sponsorship not as a commercial project. Yet he hopes to return some of the funds through the sale of tickets and broadcasting rights.
