Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Monument to be Set up in Moscow
Stanislavaki and Nemirovich-Danchenko

Monument to Constantin Stanislavski and Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko is planned to be set up put near Chekhov Art Theater in Moscow in 2014.

      It is known that the monument will be placed at the crossing of Kamergersky Lane and Tverskaya Street. Sculptor Alexey Morozov worked over the sketch of the monument; the project of the monument was approved by Oleg Tabakov, the art director of the Chekhov Art Theater.

      It is a reminder that those two cultural figures were the ones who founded the Chekhov Art Theater in Moscow. Constantin Stanislavski was the director and actor in the theatre, whereas Nemirovich-Danchenko worked there as a teacher and an actor.
