Exhibition of Spanish Artist Avelino Sala in Moscow
Avelino Sala

The National Centre for Contemporary Arts will open an exhibition of the Spanish artist Avelino Sala on July 15.

Avelino Sala is known as one of the most active and radical Spanish artists working on the edge of caustic social pronouncement and criticism of the artist’s behavior under current economic and political conditions. His creativity is always an attempt of reflection on the social conflict in modern Spain.

Besides, in his works the artist raises a question of how original and well-founded the modern artistic statement is. Whether it is only conceptualization and reflection of political events or a product of “garbage media”.

The exhibition will run till July 28.
