Exhibition of Fancy-Dress Porcelain Sculpture in Arkhangelsk

July 17 will see the opening of the exhibition Russian Monarchs. Romanovs’ Dynasty in the Arkhangelskoye State Memorial Estate.

      The year 2013 marks the 400th anniversary of the Romanovs’ House.

      The collection is based on handiworks by Olina Venttsel (1938-2007), a well-known master of the museum doll.  Each exhibit is handmade of porcelain in a single copy.

      The exhibition is of noncommercial character and the profits from entrance tickets will be used for charitable purposes. The exhibition Russian Monarchs. Romanovs’ Dynasty will be opened in the Arkhangelskoye Memorial Estate from 10 am to 6 pm every day except Monday and Tuesday till January 12, 2014.
