Gregory Maifois to Introduce Photo Fables
Photo Fables by Gregory Maifois

The artist and photographer Gregory Maifois, a representative of the well-known Petersburg art dynasty, will open his exhibition in the Multimedia Art Museum on July 18.

The exposition will present stills and works in the rare technique of bromoil (interface between photography and painting).

The works by Gregory Maifois are beautiful in form, ironical visual fables and sayings with participation of circus animals: bears behind harps, grand pianos and Lenin's book, elephants and horses on arena, monkeys with a bar and a violin, and so forth.

The exhibition runs till September 8.
