2nd Interregional Festival of Slavic Arts to Be Held in Moscow

The 2nd Interregional Festival of Slavic Art “Russian Field” timed to the 1025th anniversary since Christianization of Kievan Rus' will take place in Kolomenskoye Estate on July 20. 

      Professional and amateur creative teams, including folklore groups and masters of folk arts and crafts will get together for this holiday.

      The Russian Field festival is a splendid opportunity for a whole family to entertain in the open air and join in traditions of the Russian culture.

      Visitors will be offered to purchase unique souvenirs made of wood, metal, fabric, birch-bark, glass and leather according to traditional ancient technologies in different regions of Russia. 

      All comers will have a chance to observe work of national masters and handicraftsmen, and participate in workshops on national arts and crafts.  A fair with tasting of traditional Russian dishes will also be prepared for visitors.

      The highlight of the festival will be a large festive concert featuring professional performers and teams from all over Russia.
