Novosibirsk Opera Theatre Company to Go on Tour to China

The Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will perform Tchaikovsky's ballets Nutcracker (July 27 and 28) and The Sleeping Beauty (July 29 and 30) in China.

      At the end of July the ballet troupe and orchestra of the Novosibirsk State Opera and Ballet Theater — the largest theater of Siberia - will go on a tour to China to present two Siberian performances at the 3rd Sinkiang National Dance Festival.

      For the third time the festival of national dances will take place in the Chinese city of Urumqi. The program under the title Harmonious China and Multi-Colored World includes over 20 dancing world troupes.

      The Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater will perform Tchaikovsky's ballets Nutcracker (July 27 and 28) and The Sleeping Beauty (July 29 and 30) in the House of People's Assemblies with a hall for four thousand viewers.
