The Russian parliament may soon introduce amendments to the law requiring NGOs to register as 'foreign agents' if they receive foreign funding and engage in political activities, says RBC daily.
In particular, the legislators are looking to narrow the definition of what a 'political activity' is.
The changes follow a series of inspections of NGOs across Russia when prosecutors put the foreign agent label on even the most innocent charities.
