Gazprom is launching the construction of a new pipeline in Russia's Far East this November, sources close to the gas giant told Vedomosti daily.
The Strength of Siberia route with an annual capacity of 60 billion cubic meters is planned to connect natural gas deposits in Yakutia and the city of Vladivostok, and later China.
The project may be delayed, though, if the supplies contract with China is not signed in the near future.
