Branch of Hermitage Museum to be Founded on Ruins in Vladivostok

The ancient mansion offered for a branch of the Hermitage State Museum is in a desolate condition.

A lot of work is necessary to bring it in order, since it was ownerless for a few decades and there are some problems with intercommunications.

The Hermitage already has several museum centers in other cities of Russia and abroad. While creating them, it was necessary more than once to restore neglected buildings and equip them.

Nevertheless, the building in Vladivostok has a very favorable location - it is downtown, and opens a view on the Zolotoy Rog bay from its top floors. In case it is selected then the Hermitage will have already two buildings overlooking the sea; the first of them is in Vyborg.
