An ancient Russian architecture monument is burned down in the center of Irkutsk again.
Cheremkhovsky Lane has lost one more architecture monument – an ancient two-storeyed mansion located in the center of Irkutsk.
This house is officially listed among the monuments of architecture of local value. It was a residential house. In due time it was emptied and treated for preservation. The building was waiting for restoration.
“These monuments are set on fire by those who want that place. They are not replaced or taken to Taltsy Open-Air Architecture Museum. They are set on fire”— one of Irkutsk dwellers points out.
