Exhibition for 160th Anniversary of Actress Maria Yermolova Opened in Moscow

The Bakhrushin State Theatre Museum in Moscow opens the exhibition Jeanne d'Arc: Immortal Life of Character.

      Dedicated to the 160th anniversary since the birth of the legendary actress Maria Yermolova it tells about her favourite role.

The exposition includes various images of the Orleans maiden: lithographs, postcards, sculptures, paintings, books on Jeanne d'Arc’s feat, materials on the history of France and historical characters of that time.

      Besides, the exhibition presents photos of other actresses who performed the role of Jeanne d'Arc. The same section displays sketches of theatrical scenery.

      The exhibition runs till August 18.
