Russia's Public Television Out of Funds

Russia's Public Television station has run out of budget, says its general director.

      According to Anatoly Lysenko, the channel launched on 19 May 2013 has spent all of RUR 1.5 billion allocated by the government.

      The network was originally supposed to live off charitable contributions, but this is a fantasy, says Lysenko.
