Head of the presidential human rights council called on the prime minister to help Russia's Public Television station which has run out of budget as recently revealed by its general director.

As Russia-IC earlier reported, Anatoly Lysenko said the initial RUR 1.5 billion earmarked by the government have been almost used up.

The network was originally supposed to live off charitable contributions, but this is a fantasy, says Lysenko.
