By the end of July the monument to Vladimir Vysotsky will be unveiled in Vladivostok.

Major of Vladivostok, Igor Pushkaryov will present the monument of Vladimir Vysotsky to Vladivostok community. The sculpture is being made by personal means of Igor Pushkaryov and other persons who are not indifferent to performers’ creativity. The sculpture will be set up in Theatre Square at the end of July. The contest for the best project has lasted almost 2 years. The mayor appraised all suggestions personally. Finally he picked up the project of Peter Chegodayev, a 28 years old sculptor from Vladivostok. This will be a musical sculpture where bards’ songs will sound all daylong and year-round.
