The Museum of Dionisy’s Frescos has become a documentary film set. A Japanese broadcasting company shot documentary on Ferapont Monastery.

Japanese NHK worked in the Museum of Dionisy’s Frescos. The crew filmed Ferapont Monastery ensemble and Dionisy’s frescos at Virgin Nativity Cathedral. After post-production the documentary will be available for watching on UNESCO website. The Museum of Dionisy’s Frescos, which is the branch of Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Preserve is located in Ferapont Monastery. NHK is Japan's largest public broadcasting corporation. It gives big attention to production and broadcasting of educational and cultural documentaries for widest range of audience. “World Cultural Heritage” TV serial is one of such non-profitable projects produced under patronage of UNESCO.
