Rare Animals Aboriginals of Yamal are allowed to hunt within natural preserve.

This allowance spreads over Polyarno Uralsky national park, which was founded in 1996. The area of more than 32600 hectares is inhabited with many species of rare animals including those from Red List of Threatened Species. The natural preserve is managed by Department of Natural Sources Regulation, Forests and Petroleum Industry Development of Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Okrug.
