It is possible that metro passengers will not be allowed to run over moving staircases.

The Moscow Metro administration may prohibit passengers walking and running over escalators. Besides that, the new amendments which can be added to Moscow Metro regulations will obligate passengers to keep both left and right sides of escalator. The idea is still under consideration and the final decision has not been taken yet. There is a survey on the Metro website which gives passengers a chance to express their opinion on this prohibition.

In the same survey Moscow residents can appreciate metro service quality and to suggest their views on whether it is required to introduce “The loyalty program” – an incentive system for loyal passengers – in underground.
