The works on reconstruction of the Maly Theater planned by 2018 will be completed two years sooner than it was planned.

      Works on reconstruction of the oldest drama theater of Russia will consist of three stages, with the most difficult of them – shoring of the foundation – carried out presently. Further on reconstruction works of some parts of the theater will be done. The last stage of reconstruction is replacement of the heating and electric wiring systems.

      The total amount of the reconstruction project makes 6.5 billion rubles.
