Yorapi calf elk may become the mascot of 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Little Yorapi, the symbol of the Year of Sports in Komi Republic  may become the mascot of FIFA World Cup hosted by Russia. It was announced after working trip of Nikolai Tolstykh, the President of RFU. “This mascot was introduced to me today. I must say, he is  a  cute baby elk. I believe, Komi Football Federation will present him to the “Orgkomitet 2018” members in Moscow, and this symbol certainly will take part in competition, which will be declared by Organization Committee” – Tolstykh said.
