Historical and cultural objects of Magadan will be available for viewing on Google Maps.

The Russian part of Street View project was launched officially on February 22, 2012. This is an additional function in Google Maps allowing users to make virtual journeys through geographical, historical and world cultural heritage objects by viewing panoramic pictures. More than 30 countries around the globe take part in the project. There are already 200 cities from 61 Russian regions also taking part. Besides streets, many significant cultural objects were photographed as well. At this time Google technicians are taking the pictures of historical and cultural objects of Magadan. First and foremost, they are photographing the most interesting and memorable places. Shooting pictures goes nonstop. Internet users feel like they are walking down the streets and can look around.
