The first congress of shamans and witch doctors took place in the Perm Region.

The first shaman festival “Ural Bear” started in remote location of Kudymkarsky District. The fest in Gavrilovo village will last for one week. Shamans from Moscow should come by the end of the festival. There are a bit more than 20 participants. So far, shamans and witch doctors exercise different practices – trance, meditation and charming of sacral places.

The key place of the festival is a 10 meter high chum made according to traditional technology. The tent allows accumulating of vital energy. Shamans assure that any quest, who entered the chum will get rid of stress and will replenish his vital force. Ritual purification is scheduled for weekend. Organizers believe that since not only shamans, but also ordinary people highly appreciate such kind of format, soon the number of participants will increase tenfold.
