Universiade quests were invited to buy air of Kazan sealed inside the metal canes.


      

Athletes and visitors bought stuff for the best memories about the city, Russia and student games – national Tatar tubeteikas of different colors, styles and sizes. Famous wooden, porcelain and suede Kazan cats, whose live prototypes long time ago defended Hermitage from mice attacks are also highly demanded. Certainly, there were figures of little Uni – the mascot of Universiade. In “Kazan Gifts” market on main Bauman Street it was possible to find a new arrival – metal canes labeled with “Air of Kazan” 1005-2013 inscriptions. The numbers are the date of foundation of Kazan and the year of World Student Games.


      

As per label the cane contents of 25% of Kazan Kremlin, 25% of Bauman Street, 15 % of Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda, 15% of Millennium Park, 10% of Zilantov Monastery and 10% of Tukay Square air. Expiration date is 2112 or up to 99 years. The price is 250 rubles. Once it arrived the “Air of Kazan” has already hit the sales.
