For the first time Penza zoo will have a zebra.

The organizers of Entrepreneurship Festival have determined that zebra is a pleasant and necessary gift for 350th foundation anniversary of Penza. Purchase and transportation expenses are undertaken by Festival participants. The net value of zebra has not been cleared yet. It is thought that zebra will be purchased in Bratislava and transferred to Penza zoo not later than by the end of July. All Penza residents and quests, who came to the festival, can also make a contribution. In particular, all earnings from souvenir sales will be spent for zebra. Penza zoo has never had its own zebra. Once, a zebra from Tambov zoo stayed in Penza just for summer season only.
