Exhibition of Artist Hsar Gassiyev to be Opened in Moscow

August 1 will see the opening of the exhibition of artist Hsar Gassiyev in the Moscow A3 Gallery.

Hsar Gassiyev was born in 1929 in Tskhinvali, South Ossetia. The entire life experience of the artist has set a deep and tragic imprint on his creativity and at the same time his works reflect immense love of his homeland - Ossetia, as well as its people and nature. Presently Hsar Izmailovich Gassiyev keeps on active work as an industrious artist in eternal creative quest…

It is not incidentally that the exhibition Before the Dawn is made of paintings created by the master in recent years. Some of the works of this series were exhibited in the framework of several foreign projects, and some of them could be seen at his personal exhibition in 2011. The paintings prepared for display in the A3 Gallery focus attention on the most important subject-matters, which most precisely convey the author’s world-view and embody his long-term creative and life experience...

The exhibition will run till August 26.
