19th Century Russian Drawings and Water Colors to be Exhibited in Moscow

On August 24 Sergey Andriaka Water Colour School will open the exhibition Russian Drawings and Water Colours of the 19th – early 20th centuries.

      The landmark project of the exhibition activities of Sergey Andriaka Water Colour School is The Masterpieces of Museum Collections presenting water colours and drawings of the 17th – early 20th centuries from collections of the leading museums of Russia.

      The Vologda Regional Art Gallery has provided over a hundred rare drawings and water colours by well-known artists, such as Alexander Benois, Mikhail Vrubel, V.E. Makovsky, I.I. Mashkov, L. S. Klodt, K.S. Petrov-Vodkin, K.D. Flavitsky, as well as by talented Vologda painters.

      Just like a long-awaited premiere, this exhibition will present to the audience the rarest works by renowned artists.

      The exhibition will run till October 27.
