A garden sculpture illustrating the well-known Russian saying Mushrooms are Big-Eyed in Our Ryazan has been set up in the City Park.

Two years ago there was held a competition for the best concept of a sculpture to be created in Ryazan. The project that took the first prize turned to be very expensive. So, the committee selected the second prize-winning authors, namely Vasily Gorbunov and his wife Polina.

The sculpture was cast in Smolensk and has been set up at the park entrance today.
