2014 Sochi Olympics organizers need to store some 400,000 tonnes of snow to ensure there’s plenty of it during the Games.
The hosts don’t want the hot weather like the one last winter to spoil the holiday for thousands of fans and participants.
But as Vedomosti reports, the price of storage maybe several times higher for a state-owned Olympstroi than for a commercial Rosa Khutor resort controlled by billionaire Vladimir Potanin’s Interros.
