An exhibition about the history of the bicycle will be opened at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre on August 14.
Visitors of the Inventing Bicycle exposition will see rare exhibits from private and museum collections and get to know the history of the bicycle development.
Over 70 exclusive exhibits will be placed in a big conference hall of the office building of the All-Russia Exhibition Centre (Bldg 230).
The exhibition will illustrate the evolution of children's bicycles, display real masterpieces of 1817-2012 and unique models from the funds of museums and private collections.
The exposition will be supplemented with a gallery of portraits of the well-known Russian cyclists, with Nicholas II, Leo Tolstoy and Andrey Mironov among them.
The exhibition will run till September 20.
