Short-Length Film Festival to be Held in Kaliningrad

The Short-Length Film Festival Koroche (i.e. In Short) headed by the film director Sergey Selyanov will be held from August 23 to August 25 in Kaliningrad.

The festival will be opened with the Russian premiere of Gleb Orlov’s film Ivan Poddubny starring Mikhail Porechenkov.

The Festival guests will also see other premieres and short-length films, animated films and concerts.

According to the curators, they got over 280 works from directors of Russia, CIS countries and abroad.

The festival aims to bring together young film enthusiasts and cinema professionals, as well as “give a chance to the young ones to break through into the big cinema, and to an opportunity for leading production companies to get fresh ideas”.
