Obolon, one of Ukraine's major producers of beer and soft drinks, has put its supplies on hold after the Russian customs reportedly blocked its exports on the border.

      Earlier, Russia-IC reported on the trade scandal which erupted between the two countries in late July.

      Some analysts have seen this incident as an attempt to punish Ukraine for failing to join the Customs Union with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
