A monument to superhero was solemnly unveiled in Moscow.

The monument to Wolverine appeared in Moscow in the area of Izmailovo Kremlin.

Superhero fans collected about 300 thousand rubles over the internet. Then Andrei Aseryants carved from scrap iron a three-meter statue of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. First, the statue was planned to be unveiled on July 25, to the premiere of "Wolverine: The Immortal" and to be set up near one of the shopping centers. But obstacles did not allow implementation of the idea and Izmailovo Kremlin management considered fan club’s request. The monument was unveiled solemnly amid the beating of drums. “Zhuliki” band performed on the ceremony, all comers took pictures with Hugh, danced, solved riddles about Wolverine and were awarded with mugs, t-shirts and key rings with movie symbols.
