A new Federal Law on Education is effective starting next autumn.

After one month Russian undergraduates will lose the privilege of free admission to museums. The new Federal Law on Education coming into effect as soon as on September 1, 2013 does not mention this allowance for undergraduate students. The right for free entrance to museum was prescribed by Paragraph 3 of Article 16 of Federal Law on Higher and Postgraduate Education. According to the law higher education students of all forms and departments can visit state and municipal museums with no fee.
