World Lullabies Animated Project to Enter Western Market

The Russian animation project World Lullabies will be distributed in Belgium, Germany, Spain, France and Switzerland by the French Gaumont - one of the largest movie companies of the world.

      The World Lullabies project is being created with the assistance of cultural agencies of many countries. The story created at Metronomfilm Studio by VGIK graduates led by Lisa Skvortsova is basaed on folk songs, history and customs of various countries and peoples. Every series is a musical and ethnographic travel at the same time.

      From September 14 the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow will be demonstrating the animation and the exhibition Behind the Screen. 21 Artists of the World Lullabies Project. The series will be also presented at the autumn international telemarket in Cannes.
