“Russia 360” – Two Braves Reached Easternmost Point of Russia
Cape Dezhnev

"Russia 360" expedition has reached the Cape Dezhnev.

"Russia 360" expedition members set out a goal in 50 days, flying a light Robinson R-66 copter, to cover a complex route with total length of approximately 30,000 kilometers, including extremely remote places of Russia as well. On August 6, the crew commander Igor Gurzhuenko and flight engineer Viktor Sidelnikov reached Cape Dezhnev on Chukchi Peninsula, the easternmost point of mainland Russia. Since the flight started on July 9 in Moscow Domodedovo airport, the crew spent up in the air more than 70 hours, flying for that time over 12,000 kilometers.
