On Russian Aviation Day there were air tours in the capital of Buryatia.
Air tour tickets were on sale at Ulan-Ude airport desks. AN-2 and Cessnas were flying over the city on August 18 in honor of Russian Aviation Day. Last year tickets were sold on the same day, but there was such a great number of people willing to fly a plane that many of them could not get a ticket. "Therefore this year we decided to fix this mistake and start selling tickets in advance in order to plan out the work of security check and ground services" – Eugene Sivtsov, deputy director of Baikal aiport has noted.
