Restoration works in Kirillo-Belozersky Museum are in full swing.
Restoration works are carried out on the territory of Kirillo-Belozersky Museum. It covers several facilities, including main building, the Cathedral of the Assumption, where Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ Kirill will hold the liturgy on October 20. For now, works on strengthening the gilt and carvings on iconostasis of Dormition Cathedral, installation of icon copies and Tsars's Gates, restoration of chandeliers has been completed. Lighting issues in the cathedral are going to be resolved in August-September. Funds for the restoration of the facades of Dormition Cathedral and Vladimir, Kirill Belozersky and Epiphanius of Salamis churches will be allocated by the "Culture of Russia" federal target program. The lower part of the Bell Tower and walls of the central alley which runs over main tourist route are fixed as well.
