On September 13 the Moscow Shchusev Architecture Museum will open the photo exhibition Town Family in Russia of the 20th Century.

      The Together and Apart exhibition displays 20th century Russian architecture and history through the prism of development of the intra family relations and family life.  Based on family memory, the exhibition shows private every-day life of people of the Soviet era.

      Combining photos and objects from family collections with movies and material culture objects, the exhibition blends private and collective memory of the 20th century and involves representatives of various generations in a dialogue about common past.

      The exhibition will run till October 27.
