Ownerless Memorial House Collapsing in Presence of its Dwellers

The ceiling of one of pre-revolutionary apartments of Shlisselburg town of the Leningrad Region has caved in. Fortunately, none of the dwellers of the house of pre-revolutionary construction suffered. The architecture monument is in a deplorable condition, but it is not being repaired. The local administration explains that the building is not registered among the assets of the city.

As it turned out, the house has no owners at all. Once it was about to be transferred to the Department of Internal Affairs of the Leningrad Region, however the relevant documents were not completed. Therefore the hostel, which was earlier housing the local police department as well, now has no direct connection with the power department.

Meanwhile the senior militia officer in resignation Nikolay Ivanov goes on living with his family in the decayed apartment and apprehends new destructions.
