The Moscow sculptor Alexander Doronin has won the competition. Its model depicts a grandma wearing a head scarf and knitting while sitting on a bench. Next to her there are four grandsons, and a cat curled up by her feet.

The monument will be cast of metal and set up in the Gogol Boulevard in front of the Republican Puppet Theater in Izhevsk.
