A set of glass mosaic which is supposed to garnish the large fountain on Sportivnaya embankment soon, is almost finished in the workshops of the Vladivostok Art School.

The client is Vladivostok administration. Sketch author and creator of mosaic is Leo Zelenev, artist and designer, in his recent past – lecturer of St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Design. At present artist lives and works in Vladivostok. Marine motifs have become the main theme of mosaic panel – artists create wave and light tints using different shades of light and dark blue, white, "sand" and "solar". Part of the glass mosaic contains pearls which will enrich employment of colors. Students, working under master’s guidance, are involved in composing of mosaic as well.
