Bronze Age Pottery Found in Chelyabinsk Region

Ceramic fragments and bones of ancient animals have been unearthed in the Chesmen District of the Chelyabinsk Region.

Archeologists found them in Bronze Age sites while examining the top soil layer. Excavations carried out by skilled experts and members of a children’s tourism center will be continued for another week.

The historical finds have been made in Bronze Age sites of the Chesmen District. Archeologists have dug into heights near the Chernoborsky Settlement. In a barrow they unearthed dwellings created about 4 thousand years ago.

Young archeologists will finish excavations before the start of the academic year. They expect to find other valuable items in the remaining days.
