Tsar Jazz Festival to Take Place in Sochi First Time

The Tsar Jazz Festival was conceived by George Garanian, the well-known jazzman, and was implemented by the musician’s wife after his death.

This year among the festival guests there is The Starr Sisters trio from Australia, jazz vocalists James Davis and Cynthia Scott from the USA, virtuosos Sanya Kroitor and Leonid Ptashka from Israel, and other jazz stars.

Since 2011 the festival has been held in Moscow. Last year it took place in Gelendzhik.

The festival is organized by the George Garanian Foundation. For two days the festival concerts will be going on in the Radisson Blu Resort Hotel and the Festival concert hall.
