Russian Film Week will be held for the first time as a part of the Toronto International Film Festival between September 6 and 14.
Russian Film Week program will start with the disaster film “Metro” by Anton Megerdichev and will close with Nikolai Lebedev’s “Legend No. 17”. Among participating films are Rezo Gigineishvili’s lyrical comedy “Love with an Accent”; Mikhail Segal’s “Short Stories”; Roman Prygunov’s “Soulless”; “Kokoko” of Avdotya Smirnova; Viktor Shamirpov’s “The Game of Truth”; “Intimate Parts” of Natasha Merkulova and Alexei Chupov; “The Geographer Drank His Globe Away” by Alexey Veledinsky. Besides feature films, eight Russian shorts will be screened in Toronto.
