Construction of multipurpose museum center (MMC) in Rozhdestveno village of Gatchina District, Leningrad Region will be completed by 2017.

The MMC project will bring together museum centers of Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov and Tver Oblasts. Space will be provided for restoration and temporary storage facilities as well as rooms for staff training and exhibition. As Tatiana Balt, deputy director of the Museum agency of Leningrad Oblast said, there will be followed a strict access control. Exhibitions will be available only for special-purpose groups.
