The lessons of financial literacy will be held in Russian schools, said the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation - Anton Siluanov at a briefing on the eve of St. Petersburg summit G20.
However, special subject is not planned to be introduced. The discipline majoring in the rules of financial conduct will be taught to pupils in the framework of the existing social science subject. He underlined that the emphasis on youth is one of the priorities of the national strategy for financial education of the population. The implementation of this programme is expected to start next year, said Anton Siluanov.
